Hi, I’m Nadine!
I’m an educator, mentor, and author who loves words, purpose, and soulful storytelling. I was born in Florida with roots in the rich, revolutionary soil of Haiti, and I’m a proud alumna of Bethune-Cookman University.
Writing has always been my safe space. As a kid, I filled diaries with songs, haikus, and short stories. I never planned on becoming an author. That changed during a difficult season in 2019–2020 when I found myself struggling with confidence and identity. One evening in February, sitting in my car, I opened my Notes app and began writing. That night, Imani’s Crown, my debut children’s book, was born. A love letter to self-confidence and self-worth, that book helped me rediscover my own light.
Now, I write for the little girl I once was, inspired by the woman I’m becoming. My stories are rooted in love, grace, and intention.
My latest book, Imani’s Joy, celebrates life’s simple but powerful joys, the kind that cost little but can transform lives. I hope it inspires you to embrace your joy, share it with others, and be a light in someone else’s dark moment.
